It is a little bit like wearing glasses. Your glasses are silver and have yellow lenses. Every day you put your glasses and see the world with a yellow tint. Overtime you forget that your glasses are tinted yellow and you start to believe that the world, through your eyes, has a yellow glaze to it. The trees are not quite green, more autumn in colour, the sky is not quite blue but more greenish.

Two years later, you go back to your optometrist and get a new pair of glasses. He asks you if you still want a yellow tint and it is now that you realize you had forgotten that they had a yellow tint. You decide it is time for something different and so you decide to have any tint. And then you realize green is so green, blue so blue and the world looks vibrant and alive. You changed your glasses and you have a new perspective.

The glasses analogy offers us a clearer understanding of how easy it is to see something in a way – your perspective. By changing the way we see something, reframing our perspective, everything can look different.

Knowing what our perspective is, allows us to have a greater awareness of how we make decisions and how our perspective determines the way we see things. What we see is based on what we believe.

I know, we have no control on circumstances and some of them may be challenging and hit us hard and many circumstances are outside our control. We can however choose to shift our perspective at any time without waiting for it to be shifted for us. We call this process of shifting perspective ‘’re-framing’’. It is not about changing your mind. Instead, it is about creating a shift in consciousness to help see things in a whole new way. This shift requires that you be willing to understand that there is more than one way to look at a given situation. It is about opening thought and showing a fuller range of possibilities.

I have identified 14 perspectives on which I usually work with my clients. You will find below the top five, but it just took me a while to select just five of them!

¿Qué faenas y oficios intervenían en la preparación y en el buen funcionamiento de las herramientas, máquinas y animales con las que se llevaban a cabo en la campaña de la siega?

LOS LIENCEROS
En las casas se revisaba el estado en el que se encontraban los costales en los que sería ensacado el grano ya limpio, se zurcían los que estaban aprovechables y se calculaban los que faltaban para completar la “jerga”. El tejido empleado para confeccionarlos era lienzo basto, venia en bobinas con un ancho equivalente a dos anchos del costal y el largo se cortaba a unos cm y se cosía el lado y la parte baja. Para finalizar se le ponían las iniciales y el nº para diferenciarlos de los de otro propietario.

LAS ESPARTERÍAS
Otros negocios que notaban la preparación de la siega eran las esparterías sobre todo en lo referente a cordetas, estos “ataderos” los confeccionaban personas que trabajaban para la espartería, la tienda les proporcionaba los manojos de esparto y les pagaba a tanto por unidad. Para evitar mermas, el espartero sabía cuántas unidades de cordetas salían de cada manojo de materia prima.

Vicente Fernández Bermejo en calle Mártires y Santiago Martín de la Sierra y posteriormente su hija María Manuela en calle san Juan eran unas de las esparterías.

LOS GUARNICIONEROS
Encargados de confeccionar, reparar y engrasar los aparejos necesarios para uncir las caballerías a los aperos y carruajes.
Se repasaban todos los aparejos (zufra, retranca, barriguera, ramales, cabeza, collera, etc.)y los que estaban mal se llevaban a repasar costuras, sustituir correas o hebillas que se vieran defectuosas y engrasar para que no perdieran la flexibilidad.

Entre otros Francisco calle de la Amargura, el pucherero, Vicente “el coronao”, Ángel Colado en Obispo Quesada.

LOS ESQUILADORES
Para mitigar el calor que pasarían los animales de tiro, se llamaba a los esquiladores. La esquila de las caballerías se solía hacer dos veces al año, una antes de la siega y otro antes de vendimia, el resto de año se le retocaban los cuellos.
Estaba Julio, en la calle manzanares con san Sebastian.
Esquiladores de tradición era la familia Baeza.

EL HERRADERO
Se revisaban las herraduras y en caso de necesidad se llevaban a los herraderos.
En la calle Jesús decían que había un gato malabarista, también había un dicho de un operario que se entretenía hablando con los parroquianos que llegaban y le decían “José el que pregunta no yerra”. Otro estaba en la calle Castillejos y otro en la Plaza de san Pedro al lado de la imprenta Espadas.
En Cerrolongo por “Cañamendoza” había un pescador que también herraba los animales de los alrededores (Pinilla, Zacatena) se llamaba Andrés el Herrador.

LOS HERREROS
Otro oficio del que se hacía uso era de los herreros para la reparación de los métales que formaban parte de carruajes y herramientas, quizá sea este el gremio que más numeroso de los que hemos mencionado, por ejemplo:
Cachas calle los toros, Barranco santa María, Guarrillo plaza de san Pedro, Julio Martín de la Sierra Calle Amargura, Teodoro Córdoba Calle Pedreros, Manolo y Felipe calle Magdalena, Maxi donde el supermarcado la fragua, Pepe Baeza y sus hijos Pepe y Paqui en calle Lerma, Joaquín Muñoz de Morales (Lucas), José Fernández Bermejo y Bernardo Márquez
calle Estación, Calerillo calle Manzanares.

LOS CARRETEROS
Había que revisar los carros y galeras para evitar los desacarreos por averías, en esta faceta entraban los carreteros, repasar que los cubos y cañoneras estuviesen ajustados sin holguras, que cubos y rayos encajasen bien prietos y no se les apreciasen fisuras, igual que los rayos y las pinas o que todo el conjunto encajase sin holguras al aro metálico parte exterior del
conjunto.
Había un buen número de talleres de carretería: Jacinto calle Nueva, Doroteo calle Jesús, Cardas calle Ancha, Genaro calle Trinidad, Manuel García Muñoz, Pastrana calle Miguel Ángel, Hermanos Carmona calle los Toros, Los Maniches calle Colón que de aquí salió el último carro del pueblo, que no llegó a usarse, y para finalizar la Carretería de los Baldomeros.
Llegó el despegue de la mecanización en el campo que se empezó a notar con más fuerza a partir de la segunda mitad de la década de los cuarenta del siglo XX, llegaron las segadoras-atadoras, las trilladoras a la Granja Escuela, las cosechadoras de arrastre y las autopropulsadas ya con tolva.
Dejaron de ser necesarias hoces, cordetas, costales, trillas, aventadoras… todas las operaciones (siega, trilla, aventado, limpia y carga del grano) los hacía una sola máquina en el terreno y sobre la marcha. El metal y el caucho fue desplazando a la madera y al hierro, los remolques sustituyeron a los carros y galeras (algunos carros perdieron sus ruedas de llantas
de hierro y las cambiaron por ruedas neumáticas, que al ser de menor radio que las originales a las caballerías le costaba más trabajo mover el carro).
Los gremios fueron languideciendo, la mayoría desapareciendo o quedando relegados a artesanía minoritaria, otros se reconvirtieron y cambiaron de actividad. Algunas fábricas aún subsisten como las hoces de la Solana Langosta y Pajarita.
Esto nos lleva a pensar mirando con las lentes del romanticismo que, como decía Jorge Manrique “que cualquier tiempo pasado fue mejor”.
Yo me inclinaría más por la teoría del grupo músico-vocal argentino Les Luthiers que “cualquier tiempo pasado fue anterior”.

How does it work ?

Please note that this system will only work for stores with a cart page! This means that your customers must arrive on the shopping cart page. You should therefore avoid mini-carts, pop-up carts and drawer carts (sliding column on the right) which are incompatible with this system.

You will have several options you will be able to configure:

• Add an additional product no matter what product is initially added to the cart,
• Add an additional product only if a specific product from your catalog is present in the cart,
• The possibility to choose a specific variant of a product to add.
