1. Have A Specific Goal

Unless you know your destination, how are you ever going to get there? Many start a &#;journey&#; without knowing what we are working towards. Set a specific goal that is measureable in someway, make sure it has a clear deadline and lots of mini goals/deadlines along the way. This helps with accountability and motivation. We always set big milestones to work towards each quarter. For the weight loss, again working on hitting targets with timeframes. The general aim of dropping a kilo a week.

2. Be Consistent

Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is great body. Many of us start with the best intentions but when things get tough we soon blame “x,y and z” for our failure to stick to the plan. The truth is life will always get in the way and will continue to get in the way. How we overcome these setbacks and remain consistent is therefore essential. Many of us are simply unaware of the amount of calories found in our foods. As a result, we drastically underestimate the amount of food we are eating on a daily basis. The outcome of which means we end up in a positive energy balance with more fuel than our bodies know what to do with. The end result… fat gain. To overcome this you MUST start planning ahead when it comes to your food choices. Tracking isn&#;t essential but I find those that get the best results and faster track as it leaves less room for error. 4. Bingeing On The Weekends

Eating well Monday to Friday is great, but the body doesn’t stop when that Friday feeling kicks in. This is probably one of the main areas that stops people from getting better results. Lots of hard work during the week days is unraveled at the weekends halting progress.

5. The Need To Lift Heavy Weights

Cardio is cool for utilising stored fuel, AKA body fat, but for you to create a toned physique that actually has shape and structure to it you need to build muscle. Our experts were adamant about this. &#;To be honest, I don&#;t read objectives, and I don&#;t care if you fence,&#; says Michaels. &#;But I do read cover letters.&#; Hawley agrees: &#;Absolutely write a cover letter. It&#;s an opportunity to highlight your understanding of the business, and what you can do for the bottom line.&#;

And, even in the digital age, there&#;s no excuse for a quickly dashed-off email—take the time to compose it with care. &#;Demonstrate your knowledge of the company,&#; says Hawley. &#;And link your past achievements to the position, showing how you can contribute to their future success.&#; That, she says, will always make a candidate stand out.

You Try Too Hard

While confidence is a must, check your supersize ego at the door. &#;I have a good radar,&#; says Michaels, &#;and I have a policy where I will not bring in ego. I&#;ve made that mistake, and it really affects the culture of an organization.&#;
